The president of the Rockefeller Foundation, Judith Rodin, used a Crain’s op-ed Jan. 4 to urge the incoming New York Mayor Bill de Blasio to push a resiliency agenda for the city. Among her priorities – appoint the city’s first chief resilience officer, speed up the use of federal aid for both economic development and rebuilding, and leverage private funds through a resilient infrastructure bank.
